Liz & Aaron { White Point Gardens Wedding }

Charleston’s many natural spaces create gorgeous, unique outdoor weddings that we simply adore.  A recent White Point Gardens wedding featured one of the area’s most beautiful parks, and we’re elated to share Emily’s experiences with you today.  She began the day by meeting up with bride Liz at The Mills House Hotel to get document Liz getting ready and a few bridal portraits on the rooftop of the hotel.  Liz was beyond beautiful in her billowing gown and rose-gold strapped heels.  Framed by the grand rooms and majestic staircases of the Mills House, Liz looked amazing in her photos.

Aaron was quite handsome himself in his grey suit and red tie as he awaited Liz’s arrival in the Gardens.  The gazebo at the center of the park was the perfect location for their intimate ceremony with rows of huge live oaks spreading out behind them.  When Liz arrived, everyone’s breath caught and a few tears were shed but there were smiles all around.  She and Aaron exchanged their vows at the base of the gazebo and sealed it with a sweet kiss.

The newlyweds were swept off by Emily for their portraits and Emily delivered with some of Charleston’s historic homes and cobblestone lanes as lovely backdrops for the romantic photos.  Wrought iron and a pastel palette combined with the summertime greenery for a touch of southern charm.  Before departing to start their next adventure, Liz and Aaron headed with Emily to Demetre Park’s secluded beach for a few quiet portraits by the water.  The love in their eyes as they looked at each other was so beautiful and it was without a doubt the perfect end to an amazing day!
