The Eichorns {Kiawah Island Family Portraits}

Check out this adorable Kiawah Island family session we photographed recently! The Eichorns have been traveling to Kiawah Island for many years for vacation and decided it was a perfect opportunity to get some great candid family shots on the beach. The kids had a wonderful time running around the beach and playing on the beautiful grounds near The Sanctuary. For family sessions, we have a lifestyle portraiture approach. This means we still capture a few traditional family photos, but we love documenting authentic moments and interactions between the parents and children. Which is why we embrace letting children run around to play and encourage activities between family members.

In the summer, it is great to start portrait sessions later in the evening when the beach is clear of crowds and the sun is just about to set. The warm light and loads of giggles from these two sweet kids made for such a memorable session. We love getting the opportunity to photograph a Kiawah Island family session. We hope they enjoy these photos for years to come!
