Along with beautiful landscapes and stunning plantation homes, Charleston also features many hotels perfect for a stunning event, such as the traditional and gorgeous Francis Marion Hotel wedding that Emily photographed recently. One of the city’s most sophisticated hotels, Francis Marion‘s charm and décor create an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.
Katelyn and Rob met in Colorado, which is where he grew up. They were both pretty nervous heading into their first date, which included “less than stellar Italian food” and Slumdog Millionaire (which Rob described as a great movie but not a great date movie!) but they had a blast getting to know each other, and the rest was history!
Katelyn looked gorgeous in her strapless Pronovias gown complete with a full tulle skirt, white gloves and we just adore her pale pink ballet shoes! We love how elegant her bridesmaids look all wearing white tea-length dresses and Rob and his groomsmen all looked handsome in their traditional black suits from Berlin’s.
They were wed in the beautiful Colonial Ballroom, and the fireplace mantle was decorated with stunning floral arrangements from Out of the Garden. Katelyn and Rob were all smiles as they entered the ballroom as husband and wife for the first time. The Colonial Ballroom was the perfect backdrop as the happy couple danced the night away in front of family and friends, the part of the wedding they were most excited for!
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the two of you and everyone here at Riverland Studios wishes you nothing but happiness in the years to come!
