Jessica & Alex had the loveliest wedding at Charleston’s Historic Rice Mill this weekend. Jessica told us that they wanted “a small and intimate event with close friends and family.” This sweet morning wedding is a unique and refreshing alternative to a traditional wedding day.
The two had a beautiful outside ceremony, after which the couple and their guests headed indoors for a delicious brunch spread. We love how the bride and groom’s wedding day decor played off of a morning breakfast theme- the wedding programs were a special newspaper made just for the occasion, with a matching crossword puzzle at each table setting and a box of “Sweeties” cereal for guests to take home with them. Guests played Jenga and checkers until the newlyweds made their way over to their pan”cake,” which they cut after drizzling with maple syrup.
This unique wedding was a fun and casual day for everyone. Congratulations Jessica & Alex!
