Janice & Tom { Wild Dunes Wedding }

Janice and Tom are both sports lovers. They met after they’d both gone to a Dallas Mavericks game and were out at a nearby bar. Janice was with a friend and Tom happened to be with his best friend and father. Tom’s father saw Janice and started talking to her, quizzing her and chatting, and quickly he and Tom’s friend had set Janice and Tom up for a date the next day! Of course they hit it off, and tied the knot last weekend at Isle of Palm’s lovely Wild Dunes Resort. Their intimate Wild Dunes wedding was held overlooking the grassy dunes and the blue summer water. Janice’s gown had an a-line silhouette and a glittery waistline and Tom looked sharp but cool in his light grey linen suit. We love to see men in linen for a summer beach wedding! Dress for the weather! Janice also had a beautiful bouquet full of purple calla lilies and green accents.

The reception was held poolside at the Palm Cove in Wild Dunes. Between the dancing and dinner and even a cupcake tower, Tom, Janice and their guests had a great time. Emily did a wonderful job capturing the love and joy of this occasion. We especially love all the portraits she took of these two – between the beach and the dunes and the fun colorful houses there were so many spots around Wild Dunes to capture great photos. We love it when our photographers really have fun with couples, and capture real moments of them laughing together, flirting or just having a sincere romantic moment.

We hope these two, and all their guests, had a wonderful time in the Lowcountry. Safe travels back to Dallas, and we wish you all the happiness in your marriage!
