Erin & Ronaldo { Debordieu Club Wedding }

Emily had the honor of photographing a gorgeous Debordieu Club wedding in Georgetown, SC and we’re excited to share some of our favorite photos from the day! Erin and Ronaldo live in Pennsylvania but chose the venue because of Erin’s family ties to the Georgetown area. Erin opted to have Emily capture her getting ready before heading out for portraits on a gorgeous, tree-lined lane. Erin was absolutely stunning in her form-fitting gown with a layered train. Her festive bouquet included roses, coral berries, and orange pincushion. The floral design paired with the bridesmaids’ firecracker coral dresses provided wonderful pops of color against the earthy hues of the natural surroundings. After a sweet kiss on the cheek from the flower girl, off they went to the ceremony site and the waiting groom.

The outdoor ceremony was held in front of a gorgeous, sprawling oak tree on the club grounds with marsh views in the background. Simple white chairs, flower petals and hanging bouquets created a magical environment for this late afternoon occasion. The ceremony itself was simple and beautiful, sealed with a kiss and filled with smiles and tears. Afterwards, Emily took the wedding party out onto the club’s golf course for portraits and then returned to the tree-lined lane for photos with Erin and Ronaldo. The spirited couple danced and for a playful portrait the pair blew flower petals toward the camera. Under the petals, they shared a kiss and then it was off to the reception to celebrate with their guests!

The reception hall itself has a golden glow which complimented the white and coral theme. Flowers on the tables provided a subtle natural element to the classy venue. Guests were treated to a formal sit-down dinner and encouraged to try an exotic Brazilian-Japanese beverage before diving into the gorgeous five-tiered cake adorned with themed flowers. After a few toasts to the new bride and groom, the newlyweds and their families and friends took to the dance floor and had the time of their lives. Erin and Ronaldo treated guests to some moves of their own and laughed their way through the reception.
