Emmie { White Point Garden Bridal Portraits }

Cana ventured Downtown to capture a series of beautiful White Point Garden bridal portraits and we’re excited to finally be able to share them with you. White Point Garden is one of Charleston’s most iconic parks featuring a classic, Southern atmosphere completed with lanes of oaks and an intimate gazebo perfect for portraits or a small ceremony. Cana utilized the natural beauty of the park to frame Emmie and her lovely, flowing bridal gown. The airy skirt was perfect for these late spring portraits and the embellished belt and gorgeous red and white bouquet rounded out her bridal look. The miniature roses in Emmie’s hair were a wonderful touch of whimsey.

Emmie’s portraits underneath the sprawling oaks created some beautiful photos – we especially love the photo of Emmie looking back toward the camera.  The contrast of her gorgeous dress against the Charleston sea wall with the ocean mere feet behind her created a striking portrait. Soon after, Cana and Emmie walked the Downtown streets to find the stunning architectural backdrops also known to Charleston. Cana framed Emmie in a beautiful arched gate amid a pink brick historical home. The pop of color and the natural, candid feel of Emmie adjusting her veil makes for a perfect photo. We absolutely love the final portrait, featuring a two story building with opened shutters and several hanging gardens. The organic feel from the plants along with the deeply Southern architectural design complimented Emmie’s bridal look, creating a perfect Southern belle image.

Earlier this fall, Cana was on hand to capture Emmie and Jesse’s beautiful Wickliffe House wedding and we’re still so thankful that the bride chose us to be with here every step of the way.
