Anne & Brett { Downtown Charleston After Wedding Portraits }

Bridgit recently captured some beautiful Downtown Charleston after wedding portraits and we’re excited to share them with you today! Bridgit previously photographed Anne and Brett’s wedding at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. The couple wanted newlywed portraits that included their lovable dogs and Bridgit was able to craft a beautiful session in the heart of Downtown. The trio began at White Point Garden, where the huge, sprawling oak trees provided a gorgeous canopy for the enchanting pictures. We love that Anne and Brett chose to include their German Shepherd and Golden Retriever in their portraits. The fur babies were perfect for the experience and were incredibly well-behaved!

Anne’s strapless, mermaid-style gown with flowing skirt was absolutely stunning. Brett was dashing in his sand-colored suit and white rose boutonniere. After spending time in the Garden, Bridgit led the couple along a couple of nearby streets, framing the newlyweds in some of Charleston’s prominent architectural gems. We love their stroll down Rainbow Row, which included stops at the blue facade and arched double doors accented by an archway with Charleston ironwork. The finale was a beautiful portrait of Anne on some historic steps of the Old Exchange Building looking serenely down at her dress. Her smile conveyed the happiness of the day.

We would like to take the opportunity and thank you both again for choosing us to chronicle your wedding day and after wedding portraits. We wish you the best moving forward with your lives! Congratulations!
