Remember Amber & Shawn’s fun engagement session at Boone Hall Plantation? Well Priscilla had the honor of shooting their classic Charleston wedding this past Saturday at the Confederate Home on Broad Street. They had a beautiful ceremony in the courtyard under an oak tree, followed by a sweet tea cocktail hour filled with mason jars, a DIY photo booth, and cornhole games. We love the decor from this wedding; it was the perfect mix of DIY crafts and vintage touches. Ashley from Fraiche Event Design rented a chandelier to hang from the oak, an old typewriter, wine barrels, and vintage lounge furniture.
Amber & Shawn wanted to share the sites of Charleston with their out-of-town guests by giving them a carriage ride and tour on the way to the reception at McCrady’s Restaurant. This historic downtown Charleston restaurant was decorated with gold accents, ivory feathers, gilded frames, and lots of candles. Everyone had a blast tearing up the dance floor and spending time with their friends and family.
Congratulations Amber & Shawn! Thanks for letting us be a part of your big day.
