Shannon & Blaine {Historic Rice Mill Wedding}

Shannon & Blaine had a beautiful ceremony at The Citadel’s Summerall Chapel this past week. Blaine is a Citadel graduate and the two loved the idea of having it as the backdrop for their wedding. After exchanging vows, they took their celebration over to the Historic Rice Mill Building nestled on Charleston’s Ashley River.

The two wanted to incorporate their love of the water and a nod to the swimsuit that Shannon was wearing when she first met Blaine. We love the nautical theme with anchors and a color pallet of white, navy, and hot pink. After a southern-inspired meal (featuring one of our favorites- shrimp and grits!) and some delicious cake from Ashley Bakery, the newlyweds danced the rest of the evening away until making their enchanting sparkler exit while surrounded by family and friends.
