This sweet little Downtown Charleston private ceremony is making us smile pretty big today! When Samantha and Stefan began to make plans for their wedding day, they decided that they wanted their ceremony to be quick, relaxed, and totally them. And it was! They were the most excited about celebrating their love with their closest friends and family in their favorite city in the world. Samantha said that there is just something about the atmosphere of the city of Charleston that instantly puts them at ease. Their love story first began after finding each other through online dating, and after just one date they fell for one another. They have been inseparable ever since, and after 8 months of dating Stefan could not wait any longer to ask Samantha to be his wife. Samantha says that they really could not be more opposites. Being an event planner she is naturally a bit structured, but Stefan’s relaxed personality tends to ground her, together bringing a perfect balance to one another. When they aren’t busy at work or coaching soccer, they like to spend their time together curled up on the couch at home with their kitty, or hanging out with family and friends.
We are so happy that Samantha and Stefan chose to celebrate their marriage in Charleston, and that they invited us along to share in the good times! Bridgit met up with the two at the Vendue downtown, and then explored the city together, stopping to create some truly beautiful portraits along the way. It is clear from these photographs that Samantha and Stefan have a blast together, and are completely and utterly in love.
