Bridgit headed downtown for a lovely, romantic White Point Garden engagement, and we’re elated to share her experiences with you today! Situated next to the historic Battery and its phenomenal harbor views, White Point Garden is also close to many quiet paths perfect for romantic portraits. Rebecca & Heyward were next door neighbors and high school sweethearts and their connection carried them through attending different colleges. On this particular summer day, they were dressed for the Charleston warmth. Rebecca was beautiful in her black top and white denim with tan wedges. Heyward was quite handsome himself in an untucked baby blue button-up and khaki shorts with sandy boat shoes.
They began their day underneath the wide branches of the garden’s live oaks. The sunlight and shadow created an idyllic atmosphere with a deeply southern feel, perfect for their romantic portraits. A short ways away, Bridgit found an arched barn door (a Charleston staple) that framed the duo beautifully. After a quick wardrobe change for Rebecca, opting for a beautiful white sundress, it was back to the garden and one of the benches scattered among the trees. As the sun set on the afternoon, Heyward took the opportunity to plant a sweet kiss on Rebecca’s forehead – a lovely end to a romantic day.
Thank you for choosing us to capture your engagement portraits and we’re looking so forward to your wedding next year! Congratulations again!
