This Wickliffe House Wedding charmed our socks off. Featuring amazing vintage style, a favorite historic downtown venue, and a super fun couple, Rachel and Tony pretty much won the wedding game. First of all, these two looked perfect. Rachel wore a vintage wedding gown, complete with blush tulle and a mock crop top. Her hair was styled beautifully and straight out of the 1940’s, topped with a gold and white beaded tiara. Going along with the vintage feel and looking brilliant with her rich dark hair, Rachel wore a bold, classic red lip which matched her nails perfectly! Rachel and Tony BOTH wore vintage Ferragamo shoes – her’s in gold and his in black velvet. Tony also looked right out of the 40’s with his grey and black silk suit and neatly parted hair.
They had a teal blue vintage bus (provided by Lowcountry Valet and Shuttle Co.) to take them to their ceremony on the second floor of the Wickliffe House. The ceremony room was hung with oil paintings of historical figures and provided a fitting ambiance for these two. After the ceremony, Tony and Rachel gathered outside the Wickliffe House with their wedding party for a group portrait, showcasing their lovely color palate of grey’s, blues, black, white, yellow and of course the pop of blush in Rachel’s dress!
Tony and Rachel chose to decorate their reception with bright yellow and white floral arrangements and antique china. Their guests enjoyed dinner followed by a beautiful three-tiered white cake by WildFour Pastry. This group wasn’t short on dancing either and really broke it down in honor of the bride and groom! Oh and how about their exit?! Cana captured amazing photos of the confetti being thrown and Rachel and Tony getting into yet another vintage automobile for their stylish last shots of the night.
Congratulations to Rachel and Tony!
