Rachel & EJ {Magnolia Gardens Wedding}

Rachel & EJ met during halftime at a Citadel football game. After just two dates, EJ spent time with Rachel’s family over the Christmas holiday and they’ve been dating ever since. After graduation, EJ will be commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army; Rachel is interested in criminal law and non-profits. They are self-proclaimed “nerds” and love being outdoors.

Rachel wanted their wedding to be all about their new life together, and said, “Forget the show Four Weddings where everyone gets judged on how spectacular everything was, EJ and I feel as though getting married is spectacular in itself.” What a great perspective! The couple was married at the Summerall Chapel followed by a country-vintage themed reception at the Carriage House at Magnolia Gardens.

Shannon had the pleasure of spending the day with Rachel and EJ and captured so many spontaneous moments including one outside the chapel as the Citadel mascots, General and Boo, were traveling by. Congratulations you two!
