Noni was downtown recently for a beautiful Waterfront Park elopement filled with the charm of the Holy City, and we’re so excited to share her experiences with you today! Patricia and Paul met traveling across the country and have been inseparable ever since. They have never been to our lovely city and wanted it to be the centerpiece to their wedding. The couple began their day getting ready at the Vendue Inn with Paul sporting a grey-blue suit with open button-up and polished leather loafers. He helped Patricia put the finishing touches on her own ensemble – a gorgeous linen dress with silver accents complimented by a beautiful necklace and matching bangles. She looked absolutely stunning. The duo took a few portraits prior to the ceremony and the Inn’s wide windows offered an inviting atmosphere with plenty of natural light.
Down in front of the Pineapple Fountain, Paul and Patricia became husband and wife. The location was perfect as it symbolizes the hospitality that Charleston is famed for and also the waters of renewal and rebirth ideal for new beginnings. After a few portraits in the Vendue Range by Waterfront Park, Noni led the newlyweds to all of the hidden gems on nearby streets. She featured the eclectic architecture, using it to frame candid and traditional portraits. We especially love the open brick archway and all of the wrought iron they were able to find during their walk. The couple wanted to feature all of Charleston’s beauty in their portraits and from the Harbor to vine covered walls and lanes lined with cobbled stone, the city shone through in every photo. Finally, they ended their day sharing celebratory drinks in a bar built inside of a reclaimed church – a modern nod to Charleston’s beautiful history.
Thank you both again so much for inviting us along on this adventure with you. We had fun exploring this city that never ceases to bring up new surprises. We wish you safe travels as you head back home and then out again wherever life takes you! Congratulations again!
