Earlier this Spring, Bridgit had the pleasure of photographing some beautiful Downtown Charleston engagement portraits and we’re so happy to share them with you today. Springtime in Charleston is jaw-dropping gorgeous with garden courtyards in full bloom and mild days with the slightest of sea breezes. Visiting from Augusta, Georgia, Laura and Sam are seasoned Southerners and it certainly reflected in their chosen outfits for the day. Laura was stunning in a patterned cotton sundress complimented by a beautiful gold necklace and leather sandals. Sam was no slouch himself, sporting a blue and green plaid shirt that went well with the rich blue khakis and soft tan shoes.
Bridgit found many spots around Battery Park and White Point Garden that were perfect for the fun couple she was working with. We love how the deep greens of early Spring added deep color to many of the portraits and brought out the golds and browns our duo were sporting. The iconic oaks in White Point Garden also provided an undeniable Charleston flavor to many of the portraits and Laura and Sam looked at home underneath their wide branches. After spending just a few moments in Battery Park’s famous gazebo, Bridgit led the way to the Battery and made sure to capture some waterfront photos with the sun’s fading rays lighting up the sky in a beautiful golden pink. Sunset in Charleston, much like Spring, is something that needs to be experienced and we’re so very happy that we were able to capture their engagement portraits in such natural beauty.
Laura and Sam, thank you both so much for choosing us to join you in an amazing day. We wish you both the best as you move forward together. Congratulations in advance!
