With its iconic boardwalk, bustling activities and its beautiful coastline, Myrtle Beach is an ideal location for destination weddings. Emily recently had the privilege of heading there for a Myrtle Beach Marriott Wedding, and we’re excited to share her experiences with you today. The lovely event was a destination wedding for Pittsburgh natives Kelsey and Justin who were beyond elated for their special day. Kelsey was radiant in her beautiful gown featuring a lace bodice and flowing, gossamer skirt with intricate beading at the waist. Peek-toe Aldo heels and a delicate heart necklace rounded out her perfect bridal ensemble. Justin was incredibly handsome in his faded blue three-piece suit with light salmon colored tie and white rose boutonniere.
When Kelsey made her grand entrance, many tears were shed but none more poignant than that of her husband-to-be. They exchanged their vows in the hotel’s courtyard between two ionic columns with palms and the ocean in the distance. After the ceremony, the wedding party spent a little time with Emily – the bridesmaids were gorgeous in dresses of the same light pink on Justin’s tie. Then it was time for the newlyweds to sneak away to the quiet beach and rolling waves which were the perfect backdrop for their beautiful portraits. We love the bridal photos of Kelsey – her gown looks right at home with the wispy beach grass.
Back at the resort, a dining hall had been transformed for a timeless, classy southern affair. The chairs were wrapped with elegant white and silver cloth that matched the tables around the room. Lush white hydrangeas were the perfect centerpieces and added a soft, natural element to the beautiful decor. Kelsey and Justin entered to raucous cheers from their friends and family and took to the floor for the first dance. They look so in love staring into each other’s eyes. After a delicious dinner provided by the resort and some scrumptious cake from Southern Charm, they rejoined the party and danced the night away surrounded by those they hold the closest. It was a fun end to a beautiful wedding day.
Thank you both so much for bringing us along on this wonderful journey. It was so much fun getting to know you and we wish you health and happiness as you move forward together up there in Pittsburgh.
