I am so excited to share this adorable Fripp Island Wedding on the blog today. Jenni and Mike were absolutely giddy in love and it was really neat to be part of such an intimate and authentic wedding day. The couple only invited 30 guests and the ceremony and reception were held at a beautiful cottage on Fripp Island. Prior to the wedding we asked the couple about their vision for the wedding day and they told us,
” We want our day to feel personal…not just for us but to each person who is there. That’s why we have decided to have a small (30 people invited, including us!) wedding. We envision a relaxed day where the focus is not about rituals but about spending time with the people we love the most. We want the day to be about conversations with old friends and storytelling from family. There is a great amount of joy for us about having all of the most special people in our lives together in the same house. Jenni is most excited to exchange vows…we are writing our own. Mike is most excited to see his bride for the first time. Then laughing with friends. We are both excited to be married outdoors (fingers crossed) and sharing the beauty of Fripp Island with our family and friends.”
I can honestly say that I don’t think Jenni ever stopped smiling throughout the entire day, the laughter was not in short supply and the beauty of the island and the low country atmosphere were just the icing on the cake to a truly joyful celebration. Congratulations to such a sweet pair, we wish you all the best!
