Jaclyn & James {The Rutledge House Wedding}

Check out this destination wedding at the John Rutledge House Inn in downtown Charleston. Jaclyn & James, from California, decided on an intimate wedding and reception with 40 of their closest family and friends. With Shannon as their photographer, The couple chose to do a first look in the back courtyard of the Inn which allowed them a relaxed romantic hour prior to the ceremony to walk around the charming streets of Charleston while stopping for beautiful portraits in front of the historic homes. Their ceremony was held in the main Ball Room of The John Rutledge House with a cocktail hour immediately following. Guests then headed over to Peninsula Grill at Planters Inn for a delicious four-course seated dinner. The evening was all about family, friends, good food and great wine. Both Jaclyn and James are veterinarians  and we love the magnetic gold animals on each of the guests’ place cards!
