Heather & Rob { Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina Wedding }

Cana recently headed to Patriot’s Point for a beautiful Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina wedding and we are excited to share some highlights of the day with you! She previously met with Heather and Rob for some fun Waterfront Park engagement portraits and we were looking forward to seeing the two of them again for their wedding day. A vibrant palette of pinks and corals accented with hints of nautical decor create a fun and elegant setting. Heather’s sleeveless gown with lace overlay was perfect for the day.

The couple opted for a first look and for some pre-ceremony portraits with the wedding party. We love that Heather and Rob wanted to incorporate their parents’ wedding photos into a portrait with the two of them on their own wedding day.

With waves lapping gently only feet away, Heather and Rob exchanged vows under a white arbor adorned with florals that includes roses and berries. They were all smiles as they walked back up the sandy aisle, this time as wife and husband! We love Cana’s series with Heather and Rob on the dock in the distance, first with their wedding party and then spending time alone. She perfectly captures the special moments and features the iconic Charleston Harbor prominently. Rob’s sweetgrass rose is an awesome, Southern take on the classic boutonniere and Heather’s lovely cross looks so beautiful against her bouquet.

Charleston Harbor Resort is amazing as an all-in-one venue. Their catering is fantastic and the Resort ensures that couples just need to worry about getting married and having a great time. Heather and Rob’s reception was a perfect extension of their ceremony on the sand. The open venue, beautiful gold, sand and pink décor and nautical-inspired details created a warm, inviting experience. The wood and burlap guestbook was a fun take on a wedding day mainstay and we love that the pink roses made a reappearance in the centerpieces. Gorgeous hanging cafe lights over the dance floor gave off an intimate glow perfect for dancing and the guests showed what they can do! Heather and Rob’s departure was gorgeous, all smiles underneath sparklers. It was a fun end to what was a beautiful day.
