Cole & Andrew { Harborside East Wedding }

Charleston’s iconic harbor is a breathtaking view on either side but especially from Mount Pleasant looking across the water at the peninsula.  At a recent Harborside East wedding, these gorgeous waterfront vistas took center stage, and Bridgit was on hand for the festivities!  Cole and Andrew met through their families and, after a small bet on a game of basketball, began the winding journey to the alter at Harborside East and the start of the next chapter in their lives.  Cole was gorgeous in her linen gown tied with a satiny ribbon and we LOVE that she sported some Converse underneath her beautiful dress!  Andrew looked pretty spiffy himself in his three piece suit with bright pink tie and boutonniere.  That color was fantastic and really fit the outgoing and fun atmosphere of the wedding day.  Of course, he also had a pair of sneakers for the occasion – perfect shoes to hit the dance floor later!

Lilies in Mason jars stood guard over the rows of chairs lined in front of a small curve of palmetto trees.  The weather was gorgeous, the location was perfect and the flower girls were ADORABLE!  Then Cole made her entrance and everything stood still – she was radiant and the look on Andrew’s face said everything everyone else was thinking.  They wed beneath a white arbor wrapped in vines and flowers and shared a sweet kiss to make it official!  After a few photos with their wedding party, the newlyweds joined Bridgit for some intimate portraits around Harborside as the sun was setting over the water.  The shimmering harbor reflected the sky on fire and we love the colors dancing on the waves as vibrant as the pink in Andrew’s tie.  It was a breathtaking moment to be sure.

We’re always excited to see some of the neat details our couples dream up to set their wedding apart.  We adore the rustic card box as its polished wood and worn look fit perfectly with the day’s themes.  After enjoying some delicious southern fare from Page’s Okra Grille, it was time to get the party started and Cole and Andrew took to the floor with their guests to let everything go!  They danced and dined far into the night and before long it was time to say goodbye.  With sparklers all around, they shared on final kiss to the delight of their guests before stealing away into the warm night.

Thank you both again for bringing us along on this journey and we wish you health and happiness as you begin your new family together!
