Charleston’s famous for its gorgeous houses and breathtaking views but the real magic is found in the quiet lanes. For sunrise Charleston engagement portraits, these out-of-the-way locales can create the perfect timeless moments for your save-the-dates or wedding announcements. Bridgit recently met up with Chelsea and Bobby in the heart of the peninsula, and we’re so happy to share our favorite photos with you today! The duo met through their work (hospitality of course, it is Charleston after all), and after realizing the spark was there, they decided to see where the path would take them. It was an amazing path.
They began the session at Sunrise Park, and Bobby cast aside his blazer to reveal a baby blue button-up. They held onto one another and shared a few lingering glances that perfectly reflect their adoration for one another. The amount of beauty between the future newlyweds and the rising sun scattering hues of pink was a stunning sight to see.
Their last stop was a park full of live oaks and we immediately fell in love with these two. Their chemistry is palpable and made for fantastic portraits. We adore Chelsea’s pink dress – the pop of color complimented Bobby’s khakis and navy blazer. Underneath the wide branches of the oaks, they looked perfectly at home surrounded by endless natural beauty. Before taking a small break on an iron and wood bench, Bobby stole a kiss or two. It was such a sweet moment. Strolling through the patchwork of sunlight and shadow, Chelsea held onto Bobby and the tenderness between them was simply lovely.
Thank you both for choosing us to capture your engagement portraits and we’re looking forward to your wedding next year. We wish you the best of luck between now and then!
