Brittany & Andrew { Berkeley Hall Club Wedding }

We love to venture outside of Charleston from time-to-time to capture a breathtaking event like Emily did recently for a classy Berkeley Hall Club wedding. Located in Bluffton just outside of Hilton Head, the Berkeley Hall Club is one of the area’s most beautiful and prestigious golf clubs, offering a gorgeous clubhouse for indoor events and sprawling, lush grounds for outdoor affairs with a Lowcountry feel. This provided a perfect wedding for Brittany and Andrew, who wanted their guests to be completely comfortable while they enjoyed a classic Southern wedding. Brittany’s whimsical backless gown and flowing skirt were perfect for the sunny day, complimented by a beautiful teardrop necklace. As Andrew loves the color blue, he and his groomsmen were highlighted by various shades of navy and cerulean and looked rather handsome in their sand colored suits.

Brittany received the finishing touches on her stunning bridal look surrounded by her bridesmaids and mother. Then she headed out for the special first look with her husband-to-be. A brick breezeway with trees stretching behind them was the perfect surrounding for this lovely moment, though they were more interested in sharing a few pre-ceremony kisses. The outdoor ceremony took place pondside, overlooking the greens and featuring gorgeous floral arrangements along the aisles that matched Brittany’s bouquet. The duo exchanged vows beneath a lovely arbor wrapped in vines and white flowers, sharing their first kiss as a married couple surrounded by amazing natural beauty. After posing with the entire wedding party for a fun portrait, Brittany and Andrew took their newlywed photos with the clubhouse in the background. The exceptional architecture and manicured grounds created a sophisticated environment that really brings out the beauty between these two.

Heading inside, the clubhouse was completely transformed for the reception. Though there were some traditional details such as gorgeous floral arrangements for table centerpieces, we loved the unique ideas like the portrait guestbook. Brittany was adamant about having an open experience for her guests, so the delectable food was set up around the room and guests were encouraged to sit wherever. What followed were hours of food, fun and as much dancing as one could do. We love the energy an the excitement on the face of each guest and it looks like everyone was having the time of their lives. As the night drew to a close, the newlyweds headed into the night surrounded by a shower of sparklers. The romantic glow was perfect for one last kiss.

Brittany and Andrew, thank you both so much for including Riverland Studios in your beautiful day. We loved the personal touches you brought to an amazing location and we were moved by the amount of love we felt from your friends and family. We wish you both the best as you start the next chapters of your lives together. Congratulations again!
