We are so excited to share the lovliest Downtown Charleston engagement session with you today! Priscilla spent a sun-soaked afternoon with Beth and Kevin wandering the historic streets of Charleston. These two sweethearts were introduced by their best friends in 2012. They met at the beach, got engaged at the beach, and will be wed at the beach this spring!
Their session started with wandering a cobblestone street accented with plenty of oak trees to frame the background. Charleston does not have a shortage of beautiful archways and doorways, which offer plentiful backdrops for romantic couple portraits. Beth looked positively glowing in her first outfit of the day. We just love her bright pink dress, which offered a colorful contrast to the natural hues and textures along the cobblestone path. And how fun is Kevin’s paisley bow tie! An iconic accessory for any southern gent.
After a quick wardrobe change the sweet couple headed to the Battery and White Point Gardens. Beth and Kevin walked hand-in-hand along the waterfront with the golden sun setting in the background. Can we talk about how perfect that golden light was that evening. Priscilla masterfully used that light to capture the dreamiest portraits! This lovely session finished sealed with a kiss and a beautiful pink evening sky as the backdrop.
Downtown Charleston truly is the most picturesque place for romantic engagement photos, and as photographers we treasure getting to spend a day wandering its streets. We want to thank Beth and Kevin for allowing us to wander with them, and we look forward to your upcoming wedding this spring!
