Amber { Legare Waring House Bridal Portraits }

In Charleston’s historic Old Towne is a hidden gem and Amanda spent some time there photographing some gorgeous Legare Waring House Bridal Portraits!  The House is one of the highlights of Charles Towne Landing, a venue steeped in history that features a serene and relaxing atmosphere and stunning vistas.  Featuring a lovely pastel palette, period furnishings and the wide windows and open atmosphere of a plantation house, the Legare Waring House was perfect for Amber’s portraits.  Her gown featured a lace-embroidered bodice with an airy chiffon skirt.  Silver beading across the waist and a lush bouquet of white chrysanthemum rounded out an angelic bridal look.

We love how her flowy dress melded beautifully with the pastels of the home.  The cornflower blue and muted yellow rooms especially brought out the silver in the dress and made the white shine.  Amber took some time to herself and lounged on one of the home’s couches and we adore the floor-length veil wrapping around her.  And it’s not everyday that a bride-to-be hops up on a grand piano – she looked stunning.  Outside, the eternal green of the house’s grounds was a perfect backdrop for more traditional portraits and the strands of Spanish moss added a touch of southern elegance.  The Landing features groves of ancient oaks and the photo of Amber standing in the middle of the trees with the light filtering down is breathtaking.

We had so much fun spending time with you and we were so happy to be with you all the way through your wedding day!  Thank you again for inviting us to be part of such a special day.
