Amanda spent a little time in beautiful Mount Pleasant for some classic Boone Hall engagement portraits featuring plenty of laughs, and we’re excited to share some of our favorites with you today. Boone Hall Plantation is one of the area’s most iconic and in-demand venues, with its pristine grounds, historical atmosphere and deeply Southern appeal. Amber and Andrew were up for anything and wanted to keep their portraits candid and fun. The duo certainly dressed for the location. Amber was a stunner in a sleeveless white top and a fun, two-toned blue and pink skirt. A beaded necklace and bright pink nails (that matched the bottom of her skirt) rounded out her ensemble. Andrew styled it up in a pale blue button up and dark jeans accented by dark leather belt and boots.
The plantation’s gorgeous vistas served as perfect backdrop for Amber and Andrew’s engagement portraits. They began under the branches of some of the live oaks that created a mesh of shadows in the late afternoon sun. We love the interactions between these two, it seemed they couldn’t get enough of just being with one another and laughing the entire time. Their energy was palpable. Amanda led them over to the banks of Horlbeck Creek to one of the most unique trees on the plantation. The ancient branches seemed to hold them as Andrew held her. Before leaving for the day, they spent just a little time on the avenue of oaks, the tree lined drive heading into the plantation. With an arch of greenery and Spanish moss reaching up and around them, Andrew snuck in a sweet forehead kiss – a beautiful end to a peaceful, quiet afternoon.
Thank you both again for inviting us along on this journey with you and we’re so happy to be involved in your coming wedding! We will see you again very soon.
